Then Sings My Soul Saturday





Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend this Mother's Day! Thanks so much for stopping by.


This Saturday I decided to choose a song from the first C.S. Lewis movie, 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe', because I think the these stories tell such a powerful story of the battle of good and evil. (I also love SCC, and the lyrics of this amazing song!) I'm really looking forward to the release of 'Prince Caspian' this week; the second installment in this series. I hope you enjoy these beautiful scenes from the first movie. My favorite part of is when Aslan (the Christ like Savior of Narnia) defeats the White Witch who held Narnia in a winter for one hundred years.

I'm so blessed Jesus has set me free! I know that one day in a twinkling of an eye, our Savior and King will come back for us who are waiting and watching, and bring us into his heavenly kingdom forever. Praise God!!!

    Love this song and am soooooooo very excited about the new movie!!

    PS - had a hard time deciding which SCC song to listen to first - the video or the one on your player - that is the song my man and I danced to at our wedding!!!

    This so excites me!!! We are waiting for Friday's release of Prince Caspian too. :)

    I love this song, but until today haven't seen the video...thanks for sharing!

    Very cool video Susan! My kids love those movies too. Thank goodness there is something still being produced that we can watch together as a family!!

    I hope that your Mother's Day is very special and that your guys make you feel like a Princess (which of course you are!!).

    I absolutely love the C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia series. I can't wait to see the new one. Beautiful song!

    To answer your question, NO I do NOT have Kari's CD, nor have I been as blessed as you to hear her in person.

    I do have a Christ for the Nations CD with some of her songs. I do need to get her CDs.

    Susan...What a delight! I loved it!
    Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe is one of my favorite childhood series but I loved the movie, too!

    I don't know if they'll have Prince Caspian in the theaters here, but it just isn't the same in Spanish or with subtitles!

    We are all so blessed to have been set free...thank you Susan for your words of comfort at my place. It was clear how you could relate!
    The song that you listened to was better than the one I posted today late due to internet problems!

    Now unto our King and His Kingdom..

    Love this! and loved the movie..can't wait for the next one!
    Thanks for stopping by mine today..yes I performed the song for a women's brunch at church last year on a day we were all sharing testimonies of trials, etc the Lord set us free from...We serve a Mighty God!
