Til the very end…

wfw-2008

Welcome to Word-filled Wednesday.

It's such a joy to be your hostess today!

The purpose of WFW is share God's word (no famous quotes or literature...only the word of God)

The home of WFW is at Amy’s 160 Acre Woods.

I don't think there could be a more perfect picture to reflect this verse in Hosea about the way God guides us with his tender care, amazing kindness and great love.

The word kindness is often translated as "steadfast love" in the Hebrew, and that is exactly what it is.

A love that will never fail and never end.

No matter what the circumstances, difficulties or fears may be, God is there with His tender loving care to show us the way.

As we learn to trust and be secure in this abundant love, we are free to be kind to others.

Now we can care for others as we have been cared for by God.

God gives so many opportunities each day to show kindness, which brings us great joy every time we do! The pleasure we feel in caring for others is just a shadow of the delight God takes in caring for us.

  4. Blessings Susan...Beautiful and so appropriate for spring!!! What wonderful words on kindness! What a wonderful verse from Hosea and I agree completely that's a perfect photo! Delighting in the kindness that God always show us in sweet people and friends like you! You must be very secure and trusting, for you freely show God's kindness to others.

Steadfast love is a wonderful translation of El Olam's love; never fails, never ends. "Freely we receive, now freely we must give"
We must go...a song by Tim Hughes, God of Justice tells us that Jesus called us... to do this freely!

Thank you Susan for hostessing and such beautiful flowers and kindness! Your words are inspirational & you are as lovely as these flowers in the garden of friendship and sisterhood.
    (((hugs))) sis, Peggy

  10. Know I'm here praying!
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

  24. Susan,

Your visits to my blog bless me more than you'll ever know and wow! YOU ARE AN AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER! I'm taking a class and still feel so unskilled! I loved your words today....God's Words....needed them both greatly.

I'd love to "talk" sometime....for real.....about life, about photography, about McLinky's (help!), about these special daily things that bloggers do....The 365 Project....all of these things. I have been a closet blogger long enough, I think. :)

I need to branch out and be more like you!! :)

    I adore you!

    Tammy

Email me when you can! I love you.

  32. Oh you are so right on this one! Couldn't agree more. Our trials and tribulations are all part of a greater plan and as He tells us in Roman 8:28, "...in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." Loved it.
