WFWJORDAN

With a great deal of joy and a heart of gratitude, I’m here to share the good news from Jordan’s latest scans.  His tumor is stable.

For those of you who don’t know, Jordan was dx with a brain tumor at the age of 16, and has been a patient at St. Jude since that time.

We are now five years post radiation treatment now.

Jordan goes every 6 months for scans and testing.  We have never taken his health for granted.  Needless to say, every visit back to the hospital is filled with much anxiety concern and many emotions!

God has used Jordan’s journey to teach us so many lessons about walking by faith. On many occasions, the Lord has also opened some amazing doors of ministry to other families we have met along the way.

Thanks for your prayers and sharing in our journey.

Yes, the Lord has done GREAT things for all of us!

Please join us over at THE CAFE for more WFW!

  5. Blessings Susan and PRAISE GOD!!!

Truly this is such marvelous wonder to see Jordan continuing well in this detour of his journey! He has walked a long, hard road and it's so good to hear that "it is well". Oh Susan, how strong the Lord has made you and your son and family to meet this challenge and endure so well as you minister and pour out to others even in your own anxiety. You are a precious saint and so is Jordan.

This is worth a BIG HALLELUJAH!!!

So very grateful that the scan brought good news!

Yes, the LORD has done GREAT THINGS and you deserve some relief and JOY! Yet I know you have much JOY in your moments with your precious grandkids! They are so adorable! And all of them are growing up so quickly before our eyes, even Jordan... what a fine young man!

It is so nice to see you at WFW again and I so enjoy your visits!
I am so blessed by you. Love how your photography has really progressed! Such perfect shots!

    Love and peace,

  10. Praise God for Jordan and what God is still doing in his life!

I too love St. Judes - my husband's daughter was a patient there with leukemia when she was 4 years old. She is not 31 and doing great! St. Judes was a bright light during a difficult time.

  13. Hi Susan. Thanks so much for your concern for us and your comment on my blog. I might be very embarrassed later, but I must ask how we know each other. I can't seem to place you... I would be honored if you would send me this book from another mom who has lost children and I am grateful that you are willing to send it. I know we have a long road of grief ahead. My address is: Lisa Miser Casilla 3-12052 La Paz, Bolivia.

  24. I'm here praying right now.
Psalms 116:1-5 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
