The theme this week is “gratitude”. Oh my…
I just have so much to be grateful for. The Lord has blessed me with such a wonderful family, friends and now my precious grandchildren! I’m grateful for my health, my children’s health, and for my son who is a brain tumor survivor! The list could go on and on. I’m just so grateful for so many things. One of my favorite quotes on gratitude is by Melody Beattie:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Yes, isn’t it amazing the how our attitude toward life and others can change everything?
So, what are you truly grateful for today?
Susan, a beautiful piece of work and an inspirational quote . . .thank you I have loved this. Teresa x
ReplyDeleteYou!
ReplyDeleteAm so blessed to be able to pray for your family!
Psalms 31:14-16 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
