I don’t think there is a season I enjoy more then fall. There are so many changes all around. A time to reflect and look back as the year draws to an end.
Truly a time to give thanks.
Giving thanks is a conscious decision we can make daily. When Paul wrote these words he was in prison and yet found reasons to give thanks.
No matter what you may be facing today, a thankful heart will always carry you through.
Spent a beautiful Sunday with my granddaughters.
After attending my niece’s baby shower the girls came home and were ready to play.
Now it just doesn't get any sweeter then this one!
Or this…
Oops, one of the balloon's got away!
I'm thankful for you!
ReplyDeleteKnow that the Lord is always with you, wrapping His loving arms around you and holding on tight!
Psalms 18:2-6 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

ReplyDeleteRomans 5:3-5 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

ReplyDeleteLamentations 3:21-25 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
