Darcy over at Life With My 3 Boybarians is hosting a new project that is called Project 52. This is a 52-week photo challenge that I've decided to take this year. We will have a theme each week for this challenge.
It’s week # 2 and the theme is
“Made with Love”
While we were having lunch at the mall this past week, the kids were so excited to see the Build-A-Bear character walking around. So naturally they wanted to “Build-a-Bear!
The first thing they had to do was choose an un-stuffed bear from a very large selection. Decisions, decisions…
But finally they did, and now it was time to stuff them!
My favorite part of building a bear is the “heart ceremony”. Here the lady at the store that was helping them, was telling them to rub the heart, and make a wish!
And now the bear is filled with so much love!
Once she is stuffed and complete, it’s time for a quick bath!
Kayla named her bear Isabella.
And now the fun part, picking out a new outfit. So here is Isabella with her new dress and big smile!
A bear truly “made with love”!
These are all adorable, LOVE the last shot!
ReplyDeleteHow fun, and what cute pictures! Don't tell anyone, but my oldest still sleeps with a pig that he made at one of these places over 10years ago--he's in high school now. So I know those bears are going to be very well loved!
ReplyDeleteReally sweet photos. Great job on capturing the memories!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post from a spontaneous memory!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun thing to do!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely made with love! These photographs are priceless! :)
ReplyDeletegreat photos!! the whole build a bear process is so neat - my daughter and her girlfriends each made one to remember their senior year in high school. even big kids like it! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch great pictures and I LOVE that you had your camera with you and weren't too self-conscious to shoot pictures. I sometimes feel to shy to take photos when I'm out and about-I gotta get over it!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Those bears will be prized for years to come. What a great memory.
ReplyDeleteChristine
Great photos! They really tell the story of your bear building process.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteI love this interpretation of "made with love"...perfect!
ReplyDeleteKathy
These are great shots! We love Build a Bear over at this house! So fun!
ReplyDeleteYou have such adorable children! And such great photos! My sister put together a cat Build-a-Bear at the Boyd Bear headquarters in TN several years ago. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteValerie
Precious, they are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwww, my girls love Build-A-Bear too! :) Those smiles say it all :)
ReplyDeleteCute pics! I was thinking of BAB too, when I saw this week's theme. However, we don't need anymore BABs in the house. LOL!
ReplyDeleteFun visiting you too! I need to take the kids sometime! I want to adopt you as a grandma :) Fun meeting you through P52! Wonderful to meet your 5 boys too. Sweet Blessings,

ReplyDeleteOh so sweet! They look so excited...what a special treat. I remember when we took the boys years ago. Have a wonderful weekend. Also, thanks your comments always warm my heart, they are so appreciated.
ReplyDeleteTiffany
Adorable pics - the kids look so natural! We are just getting into BAB with our kids. We've done it twice now and they love it. Thanks for visiting me!
ReplyDeleteI love Build-a-Bear! When my brother was deployed to Kuwait and my now-husband was stationed 7 hours from me, my sister-in-law and I made military bears to keep them close to our hearts =) I can't wait to take my and my husband's own kids there one day!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet... my kids have been there once, but never my youngest. Way out of our price range.
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet, Susan! Great captures!
ReplyDeleteSo cute- I have never take my girls to the store to do that. They love bears - it would be hard for them to choose with that kind of selection. They do really enjoy the kits to make them at home though.
ReplyDeletecute photos and adorable kids. thanks for the visit!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, looks like you guys had a fabulous time. Love your pics!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of my children have a "build-a-bear" that they hand picked when they were very small. We still have them today, my kids are 6 and 10. There's just something special about picking it all out yourself, from the heart.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures!
What a great memory to have of a special day. I love each of the pictures, but my favorite is the last one. The scripture you have on your banner, is one of my absolute favorites. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteI've been to Build-A-Bear one time with my littlest sister and I enjoyed it so much! I love that you can record your voice for the bear, too.
They're definitely filled with love! ♥
Wonderful photos! That looks like it was such a fun experience!
