Bluebirds!

During the winter my husband put a bluebird house on a tree in our backyard.  We couldn’t wait until spring to see if the bluebirds would make a nest.  I was so excited the other day when I opened up the box to discover four tiny bluebirds waiting for their meal!

In only one week they had grown so fast.  Now that they could see, they knew I wasn’t mom, so I think they were laying low.  After I closed up the birdhouse, mom flew right down to check on her little brood.

    That is so cool! I just noticed that Robin's are nesting on top of a window of our house. I won't be able to get those kind of pictures though...

    I enjoyed looking at your bird pictures. We always have nests around our house and I have not been brave enough to get in that close and get pictures. Great shots.
