March 17th was a very special day in our family.
I was real a little nervous because they asked me to be their photographer. And this was a first for me.
My beautiful niece Jennifer got married!
She decided to have her wedding reception at her home. And what a great idea it was! The spring weather was gorgeous, and her house was decorated so beautifully for this special day.
We were all so filled with anticipation as she began to prepare for her big day.
Everything was simply perfect…
Her dress was just gorgeous. Every single detail…
Her mom (my sister) and her younger sister Megan could not have been more excited to celebrate her joy.
And I sure was beaming with a little pride myself when I saw my beautiful granddaughters in their dresses!
I also loved the bridesmaids dresses, which complemented the wedding dress so perfectly.
And then when we got to the church, it was time to take pictures of the groom and all those handsome groomsmen.
And as you might expect the groom got a bit nervous, but his guys were there to save the day for the bride!
Oh my…Jennifer was beaming as she arrived in her limousine to meet her awaiting groom!
And finally…together for the rest of their lives the happy couple off to celebrate with their guest at the reception!
There's just something about a wedding...really touches your heart!

Psalms 73:23-26 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful day. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to them both. Loved the black bridesmaid dresses, such a brave and cool choice. The bride is beautiful although do I sound like a old grouch by saying she had far to much make-up on. Seems to be a thing these days with young girls...and for it spoils their natural beauty.

ReplyDeleteIsaiah 53:7-10: He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
