Monday

My husband in the front yard getting warmed up for a golf game.  His dream would be to play everyday!

Tuesday

Took a walk in the neighborhood and caught this beautiful sunset.  Fall is finally in the air.

Wednesday

Put up some decorations around the house and in the garden.  I love harvest time.

Thursday

We don’t see many leaves changing colors down here in the south, but this yellow spotted leaf caught my granddaughters eye!

Friday

Kayla was running down a hill in our neighborhood and shouted, “Look Grammy I can fly!”

 Saturday

My grandson Cole, taking some time to smell the flowers.  It’s a lesson we could all learn a little better.

Sunday

Took the girls bowling on Sunday.  Kayla looked so grown up in this shot.  She is only five and I’m already worried about losing my grandbabies.

I Heart Faces-Pink

I_Heart_Faces

This week’s theme is in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

So many people have been touched by this disease.  Personally I have had several friends in the battle, or have won their battle.

As women, this is a very personal and passionate cause.

My prayer is for a cure to be found quickly.

Monday

Can’t think of a better way to start a week out then seeing my grandson’s infectious smile.

Tuesday

What a very special day.  My son Jordan turned 25 and we celebrated with lunch at a really nice restaurant.  We are so blessed and honored that God trusted us with such a special son.

Wednesday

My bosom buddy came over to spend the day with me.  We celebrated her 29th birthday again!  I look forward to my visits with Cyndy.  She is a treasure in my life!

Thursday

My son Jason came over to play tennis with his dad.  My husband is still hanging in there with his sons on the court.  What amazing guys I have in my life.

Friday

My sweet little Karli having fun at the neighborhood  playground.  Doesn’t take much to get that smile going!

Saturday

My granddaughter Grace got a new costume for an event we were having at our local Zoo on Sunday.  She decided to be Dorothy.  Love those ruby slippers!

Sunday

Sunday at the Zoo.  The kids had a blast.

Thanks so much for joining me this week.  For more projects go to The  Mom Creative.

I Heart Beef!

I_Heart_Faces

This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is a beef photo.   Well, that was not hard for me!  I truly love a good steak.

Beef2

Today we celebrated my son’s birthday dinner at a classic French-Creole cuisine restaurant named Galatoire's.  This is landmark French Quarter restaurant in New Orleans.

I choose this awesome sizzling filet mignon dripping in a herb-butter sauce.  It simply melted in my mouth!

Project 365-My week in Pictures

Monday

Started out our week in New York City.  My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary this year with a wonderful get-a-way to the Big Apple.  We love Central park and had a great day relaxing and taking in all the sights at the park.

  Tuesday

We choose to go to this Broadway Show.  Mary Poppins was one of my all time favorite movies as a young girl, and the Broadway play was incredible.  I still have the doll my mom gave me as a present one Christmas when I was about eight years old.

Wednesday

It wouldn’t be New York without a little shopping.  Had a great day going to all the stores on 5th Avenue, and finished up with dinner at Times Square!

Thursday

We decided to take a bicycle cab back to the hotel rather than walking or catching a yellow cab.  Our driver was from Russia, and since my husband knows a little Russian, he had some fun talking to him.

Friday

We went to Rockefeller Center on our last day.  There was so much going on down there.  We watched some of the Today Show live, took a tour of the NBC studios, and talked with some FDNY fireman who were hosting a big fire prevention event.

Saturday

My son and his wonderful family came over for dinner.  It was so good to see them again.  I just love my beautiful girls!

Sunday

Kayla and Karli had a sleep over at Grammy’s.  We had a great day Sunday just hanging out at the park and riding on the Golf Cart.  Kayla loves to drive all by herself.
