My sweet niece came over this weekend for a maternity shoot.

To say I was a bit nervous would be an understatement.

 

 

Now, I’m sure you will agree she is one gorgeous young mother to be.

 

 

And her sweet smile lit up every shot.

 

 

I just loved all the cute outfits she brought along for the shoot.

 

 

Yes, you can easily see the joy see is feeling about this little one on the way.

 

 

Oh to be young and beautiful…

 

 

And that pregnancy glow was just so special to capture!

 

 

Gosh, she looked great from every angle!

 

 

So who will it be, Annabelle or Rowen?  We can hardly wait till December to find out!

 

 

  

Shades Of Autumn

 

 

 

The color for this week’s theme is orange!   I didn’t realize how much orange is all around us during this special time of the year.

I’m guilty!

 

 

 

OK, I have a confession to make.

 

I just can’t take enough pictures of my sweet grandchildren.

I

 

Yes, I just love everything about each one of them. 

 

 

And one of my very favorite things is their laughter. For this Grammy,  it truly is the best medicine!

 

I love their innocence and their love for Jesus.  So pure and sweet.

 

 

And those beautiful eyes they flash at me.  Oh my…my heart just melts every time!

 

It won’t be long before they are all grown up, and weekends with Grammy won’t be as fun.   So…I will treasure every one of these special moments.

 

Give us your eyes Lord so we can see the potential each one has in you.

When I think of fall and the changing of the seasons,  homemade vegetable soup always come to mind.

I don’t think there is any part of the body that is more precious, more tender, more carefully guarded than the eye.  Here we see how David cried out to the Lord for protection when he was facing strong opposition in his life.

We also can trust the Lord with whatever we may be facing, because he has His eye right upon us!

Zoo Trip

 

 

 

The kids were off of school last Friday so my sweet daughter in ♥ came out to visit for the day.

 

 

So we decided to take the children to the zoo!  Oh my…Karli just loves animals.

 

 

We were off to one adventure filled day.  

 

 

Now for their favorite part…the petting zoo.   First thing in order was to do some grooming on the goats.

 

 

Karli was in her glory!  She made a friend, and he really enjoyed her undivided attention.

 

 

Of course we had to have a few photos for for Grammy.  I just love this one of Cole and his mommy.

 

 

And then it was time for a nice cool treat.

 

 

Now these girls have a blast when they are together!

 

 

They may be getting a little big for this stroller, but they managed to fit and had lots of fun.

 

 

And to end our perfect day we all took a ride on the train.

 

 

 

Better hurry Grammy, the train is getting ready to leave!
