Bluebirds!

 

 

This weeks theme is “Details”!

 

During the winter my husband put a bluebird house on a tree in our backyard.  We couldn’t wait until spring to see if the bluebirds would make a nest.  I was so excited the other day when I opened up the box to discover four tiny bluebirds waiting for their meal!

 

 

In only one week they had grown so fast.  Now that they could see, they knew I wasn’t mom, so I think they were laying low.  After I closed up the birdhouse, mom flew right down to check on her little brood.

Wedding dreams…

 

 

Once upon a time there were two little girls who dreamed of standing in a wedding one day.

 

 

 

And then their dream finally came true.

 

 

 

Yes… and finally they were going to be the flower girls in my niece's wedding.

 

 

 

And of course their little sister wanted to be a part too.

 

 

 

And then the fun began.  Picking out the dresses, stockings, shoes and the flower wreath for their hair.

 

 

 

Oh my…they were just so giddy and full of joy, like two little princesses!

 

 

 

And their little sister was so happy when she learned they were going to let her ride in the limo to the church.  She was so excited that she was going to share in this special day!

 

 

You see…dreams do come true.

 

 

 

And memories were made that day  that will last for a lifetime!

 

 

 

Girls Do Rock!

 

We have been so blessed enjoying some the most amazing and gorgeous spring weather this year.  Our winter was very mild and Spring just arrived so early.

 

Recently I took the girls down to the lake to play.  First they wanted to show me some new cheers that had made up.  OK... they were so cute, and lucky for me I just happened to have my camera handy!

 

 

Don’t you just enjoy watching little girls’ play?  I love how they they always hold each other’s hand.

 

 

And  how much they laugh and enjoy each other’s company. 

 

 

Oh to be young and care free again!

 

 

 

But my little girls are growing up so fast I can hardly keep up with them.  My precious Kayla will turn 7 in April.

 

 

And Grace will turn 8 next week!  What happened to the years? It only seemed like yesterday that we got the news we were going to be having our first grandchild.

 

 

I want to capture every step of the way as they are growing up so I won’t forget one single moment I get to spend with them!

 

 

Kayla and Grace are cousins, but at the same time are just like sisters and best friends.
