Oh, there is nothing more exciting then an  unplanned photo shoot with your grands.

We were leaving for a day out when I discovered the lighting in my doorway was begging for picture!  

I just loved the catch light in their beautiful eyes.

Many times in my Christian walk I’ve prayed and asked God about His perfect will for my life. 

I’ve often asked the hard questions.  Then waited, wondered and even worried about what His reply might be.

But it seems I keep coming back to this very same verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:16…

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's Will for you in Christ Jesus.”

No matter where you might be in your journey right now, God’s will remains the same… “Be Joyful Always.” Joy doesn't always mean happy, but it does mean grateful and thankful in spite of the circumstances.

Take time today to meditate on this amazing verse.  See what God is saying to you.

Beth Moore had a summer bible study for all her Siesta’s. I was so blessed to do this with my daughter in love and best friend Cyndy.  We are concluding this awesome study this week. 

 

After arriving at a doctor’s apt. on the wrong day, I got a phone call from my friend who asked if I wanted to go shopping with her.  Wow…the day turned right around and we had a such wonderful time.  I’m so grateful for our special friendship!

 

  

I found this neat bowling set for my grands.  They love to play with them every time they come over to visit with Grammy and Popsy!

 

We took Kayla to Build-A-Bear as a special reward she received from the owners for taking care of their cute little puppy that was lost.   After much deliberation she choose this huggable little bear she named Cuddles.

 

Woke up to find this little note next to a cup of tea my husband made for me before he left for work.  Oh, it’s the little things that mean so much.  I’m still crazy in love after almost 32 years.

 

Had my granddaughter Grace over for the weekend.  I’m so sad school is about to start.

 

After an awesome lunch with my son and his family we stopped at Lowe’s to pick up a few things on the way back home.  I had to take a second look when we pulled up next to this vintage 1964 Mustang convertible!!

Had my granddaughters over the weekend.  We bought them Candy Lane.  We played it over and over and over again!   That little blue man became like a friend to me.

Project 365

 

What busy, but awesome week we had!  I just the love the summer and all the great times we are getting to spend with our grandchildren.  Only four weeks left before school starts once again.  Trying to cram in as many good times as we can. 

 

  I picked up these flowers while I was at the grocery store.  I loved the colors, and they were such a nice way to brighten up my table!

 

My precious little grandson.  He just loves wearing his baseball hat.  He’s all boy for sure.

 

My son was cutting the grass when I snuck in this picture. I love the way the sun was shinning on his face.

 

I had fun snapping a few pictures of Jordan.  Oh, he’s so handsome and just the sweetest young man.

 

The girls had a ball on this bouncy jumper.  They were not at all afraid.

 

We recently bought the girls Candy Lane.  Oh my…what fun we had playing this game.  Over and over and over!

 

Had my my family over for dinner on Sunday.  What a great day it turned out to be.  I especially enjoyed spending time with my niece who was in town from Phoenix.
