Welcome to Word Filled Wednesday...I am delighted to be your hostess today!
The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful Word of our God) through photo’s & a Bible verse!
MckLinky is below so you can join us.
Learn to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary moment!
Before Jesus fed the five thousand He told His disciples (who had already decided to send the crowd away to find their own food), “You give them something to eat” (Lk. 9:13 NIV).
They replied, “That would take eight months of a man’s wages!” (Mk 6:37 NIV). That’s when Jesus asked, “How many loaves do you have?…Go and see” (Mk 6:38).
He challenged them to look for the extraordinary, in the ordinary moment. When you do that, you invite God into your situation – and with God all things are possible!
They already had the solution; they just didn’t see it. When you consult with God you begin to see things in a new light, and find answers you never dreamed possible. So before you go any further - stop and pray: “Father, show me what I’m not seeing.”
Opportunities for blessing are constantly coming your way – or passing you right by.

Good post! I would love to live everyday finding the extraordinary in the ordinary (or what we'd consider the ordinary). What a challenge, and how different life would be.
Have a great day!
Praying for your back!
Love ya, Kristin
I would've loved to have been on that mountainside the day He fed all those people!
I loved how you encourage us to ask God to show us what we're not seeing!
Your such a blessing Sweet Susan!
Love,
Lelia
Blessings Susan...How very true!
What a precious gem you found & shared with this scripture & this photo along with your insights.
Learn to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary moment!

(((hugs))) & thanks, Peggy

Your blog is so cute. I haven't been here for awhile...you are always updating.
What a blessing you are, Susan! Thanks for hosting.
Love,
Tracy :)
Continuing to lift up prayers!
His oath, His covenant, and blood
Support me in the whelming flood;
When every earthly prop gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

Amen! God is the god of impossibles! He is Almighty. I love this statement "look for the extraordinary, in the ordinary moment." What an encouragement.
Thank you for sharing. God Bless.
This is the first time that I have visited your site but not my first WFW. You have a beautiful family. I will have to book mark your blog and come back again. Thank you for the wonderful WFW post. Swing on by my site to see mine.

Very encouraging WFW here! Thanks. Living for God while abiding in Christ is an extraordinary adventure for sure.
Oh, Susan - I LOVE this. Wonderful reminder. (and, by the way, I absolutely, positively LOVE your header. GORGEOUS!) Looking for the extraordinary today! Happy WFW!
Wonderful post Susan. I haven't participated in this meme in FOREVER. Mercy! It is nice to be back.
Have a blessed WFW!
Beth
A wonderful graphic reminder to focus on what we have, rather than what we do not have.
Amen! I love the verse. I am constantly asking God of His perspective as it is soooo different from mine more often than not. Like I was bummed out when turning 35 (last year:) and God spoke to me that the best is yet to come. I am so thankful that He looks to so much more than just what we "have". Blessings, Laurie
Great posting and thanks for hosting! :)
Oh what a beautiful prayer! May we stop and see what the Lord is doing. Thank you for hosting WFW! Hope you have a great day!

**Were you able to find one of your boy's LSU t-shirts? Jacob was asking the other day!! :)
Great verse and photo! I just made two loaves of zucchini bread yesterday so I could totally relate. Good message to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Happy WFW!
Good word for thought. Thank you! I love that there is extraordinary in the ordinary with God whether we see it or not. Gives me something to strive toward daily!
Show me what I am not seeing...what a bold prayer. I LOVE IT! I loved your post and the picture, Susan. Thanks for hosting. Happy WFW!
Love how we are to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary day! I'm going to make a reminder of that for me to see every day. God DOES have things planned and I'm so glad. :)
With Him, all things are possible. He can take what we bring and create what He needs!
Wonderful post!
Thank you for the sweet encouragement and hosting today !
~ Thanks for being a blessing
and for sharing these lovely words.
This is a very good reminder on how powerful God is...with that 2 loaves of bread He was able to feed the hungry...

A reminder of everyday grace (and a reminder to not overlook it!)
Thank you.
I love how God is found in the ordinary. That's my passion to find His sweetness throughout the day.
I may join you next week.
Miss you too,

Thanks for that thought provoking and encouraging post, Dear. I tried to comment this AM and could not, for some reason!
well done! I'm still computerless which is why i didn't get to sign on til now!
Thank you for hosting the WFW today. It is such a wonderful way to connect with Christian women online. Stop by anytime.
Blessings.
So true. We miss the things of God if we aren't looking for them. We must be open... and prayer does that for us, doesn't it?
Sorry I missed out on WFW today. If only I'd known you were hostessing. My video series will soon be over, and then I'll be back to WFW again. Looks like you had a fantastic turn-out today!
Hugs, e-Mom
I'm so glad that I found you again.
I so needed to hear this spoken to me today.
Keep me in your prayers. Fall is coming and that is always a difficult time for me.
Funny thing...I linked and didn't even comment...I WAS going to use a bread image that I've had floating around for awhile! :) I'm a day late getting around..you know that Cafe calendar stole my time this week!!
You were a fantastic hostess!!
hugs!
How's your back feeling??? More brownies???

Praying hard right now!
Psalms 27:7-8 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Know you're partying tonight! Glad Jordan had that time with Tonya's family, but know you're thrilled to have him back home!
Am so blessed to be able to pray for your family!
Psalms 27:13-14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
