She loves me, she loves me not…

wfw-2008sm

WFWkids3

Oh my, this was just so funny! We took the grandkids out to the zoo yesterday. While Kristin was getting a stroller for the girls I decided to start taking pictures of Karli and Cole.  Well its not exactly your perfect Kodak moment, but it sure says a lot about how we all feel at times.

Now, Karli really does adore her younger brother, but like most of us girls she can get a little carried away with her emotions.  One thing is certain, she’s not shy about the way she feels.

But on a more serious note, one thing that grieves the heart of God is when we pretend to love outwardly in one way, but feel the opposite on the inside.  God truly looks at and judges the motives of our hearts.

May our love always be without hypocrisy.

Blessings Susan...

SHE loves me! Jesus loves them both so much! So precious those two! How true the WORD you chose! Many look at Christians as hypocrites for not being true to what they say. May we be found to be true & faithful to His WORD!

Thank you for your precious visit, words and prayers! I'm grieving & healing and go through so many mixed emotions trying to forget the vivid last image for other more pleasant. Family has strange beliefs of him still wandering here (and I don't like to hear this)! I
so appreciate you covering me in prayer and your love! Bless you!

Praying in Seattle!
Psalms 37:39-40 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Susan,

The thoughts God gave you with the picture of your grandchildren, is precious. Are we pretending or are we real? Something the Lord had put on my heart before I ever came to my computer this morning.

Lovingly,
Yolanda

PS: Are you headed to Houston?

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Psalm 91:1-2, 4: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust...He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Continuing to pray!
Psalm 91:14-15 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

I'm afraid there are certainly times when I "pretend to love outwardly in one way, but feel the opposite on the inside". I don't want to be that way!

The picture of the kids is just too sweet! :)
