The Words I would say…

then_sings_my_soul

(Please remember to mute my music player, thanks!)

Today I would like to devote this song to anyone who is going through a time of w-a-i-t-i-n-g.  I pray it blesses and encourages you!  God is faithful and He is true.  He has a plan.  He loves you.

Isaiah 40:31 “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.”

Be strong in the Lord
And never give up hope
You're gonna do great things
I already know God's got His hand on You
So don't live life in fear
Forgive and forget
But don't forget why you're here
Take your time and pray
These are the words I would say

Please join us over at Amy’s Signs, Miracles and Wonders for more great ways to bless the Lord in song today!

Waiting on the Lord is like the flower bud in the darkness...... Life is there and beauty has been born within and it is awaiting the LIGHT of his spoken word and it will come. I remember so many dark days waiting on prayers to be answered.. I grew regardless of the darkness.. It was the most God reveling time of my life..... I am thankful for those dark years. It brought me here.

Susan, it has been a while since I've visited you. I love your blog design. I've not seen this movie Fireproof but have heard great things about it. What a perfect song! I loved it. What a blessing it's been this morning visiting you. I'll be back again soon.

Blessings,
Debbie

Blessings sweet Susan...Great encouragement for ALL(not just those waiting)since the "words I would say" are "take your time & pray", "never give up HOPE", "be strong in the LORD" and "God's got His hand on you" Plus my favorite Bible verse in Isaiah!

I have the songs from "Fireproof" but I did not have this one. [Tried to get my husband to watch this with me when I was home last summer. He asked 2 ?s before telling me "no": is it Christian? and is it about "your" God saving someone's marriage?] But I watched it, loved it and brought a copy with me in Spanish since I tried to do the Love Dare even without having seen the movie. Lots of prayer needed in my situation even after more than 30 years. That's especially when you need words like these. Still praying & believing!

Anyways, my proclamation song is Israel Houghton & Lakewood CC. who I also heard sing "I receive Your Love" but on the video for my declaration song it's Hillsong London. And my TSMSS is Casting Crown's newest CD released in Nov.

Have a super blessed weekend and enJOY the songs of TSMSS & being in His Presence. Glad you joined us today! Thanks for sharing this WORD!

Susan,

Definitely a good song for me today. I loved the movie and the song but it's been a while since I've heard it. I'm definitely in a waiting period in my life and this spoke to my heart!

God bless you!

Susan
I came by earlier and looked at your posting. Wasn't this movie a treat? And such a great message for so many who are in that 'waiting' place. It's not the place any of us would choose, and yet... God not only gets our attention there, He teaches us and then brings us through to the next place.
Thanks for sharing this today!

I LOVE this song. When it comes on, all else gets quiet. Despite how many times I've heard it, I will stay seated in my car until it has finished playing. Thanks for sharing the encouraging words.

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Matthew 11:28-30: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

What a blessing and comfort to have eyewitness testimony of Christ's life. Praying!
I John 1:1-4: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full
