Friday Challenges

Live Everymoment

The theme for Live Every moment is farms.  Although I’m a city dweller, I sure love the beauty of the country.  Not far from where I live is some gorgeous farmland.  I  could not resist stopping the car and taking these a picture of the cows on this lazy summer day.

This watermelon patch took off from a single seed.  Now its spreading all over.  Simply amazing!

The theme this week over at Crazy Days of Summer is yellow.  One of my favorite colors for sure.  Doesn’t my grandson look great in yellow?

Fabulous Friday

Girls

Had a great night out with the girls.  They just love trying on clothes.  I wish I was that enthusiastic!

Lovely photos - I too love the last shot of the crape myrtle, so very delicate and I like your use of DOF, just the right amount of soft focus.

Great photos! I'm always mesmerized by cows grazing in the pasture, especially when they're all facing the same direction. Why is that? lol You have beautiful grandchildren, by the way. :)
Thanks so much for joining Alicia and I for the Crazy Days of Summer Photo Challenge. I'm following you now via GFC and hope you'll join us again next week when we tackle a new theme, LIGHT. Have a great weekend! :)

Great assortment of shots. I love the watermelon especially. The green sits so vividly on the black. Your grandkids are just adorable and make great subjects.

Am down South as well, the buckle of the Bible Belt, and I thoroughly LOVE when the myrtle's start to bloom! You took a GREAT shot of one! We have the traditional pink in our yard. Haven't seen a white one for a long time. Mayhap I'm just not paying attention. ;) We live out in the country and would have to drive to the city to snap a pic of a sjyscraper (the inverse of what you had to do! LOL;) Thanks so much for stopping by my blog the other day. A true pleasure to meet a Sietr-in-Christ!
