Wedding dreams…

pw IMG_9418

Once upon a time there were two little girls who dreamed of standing in a wedding one day.

And then their dream finally came true.

Yes… and finally they were going to be the flower girls in my niece's wedding.

And of course their little sister wanted to be a part too.

And then the fun began.  Picking out the dresses, stockings, shoes and the flower wreath for their hair.

Oh my…they were just so giddy and full of joy, like two little princesses!

And their little sister was so happy when she learned they were going to let her ride in the limo to the church.  She was so excited that she was going to share in this special day!

You see…dreams do come true.

And memories were made that day  that will last for a lifetime!

Hi, Susan! Oh, dear, they're just so precious, all of them! And your images are beautiful, as usual. I especially like the second to last one!

Third to last and second to last pictures are my favorites. The smiles and the creamy colors make everything feel so innocence and sweet. I hope your niece’s big day was a huge success and that everyone had a ball. Your pictures are beautiful. Thanksf or sharing. Happy WW!

Saw a story on the news today of a bridal veil that was 2 miles long! Why would anyone want to do that?
Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers!
Lamentations 3:21-25 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Don't you know they were looking up at that dress thinking, "someday..."! I know I would have been as a little girl.

Gorgeous shots of your granddaughters! Their dresses are beautiful. :)

Those little girls are so precious! How wonderful that they got to be in a wedding! And they're old enough that they'll remember it too. So special!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I do like the camera a lot! I'm still learning all about it. It's my first step into the DLSR world and even though it's not a true DSLR it's really different than my point and shoots! But I love the pictures it takes and I can't wait to use it more and more!

This hymn has so much meaning...and gives so much hope. Praying hard!

3. There at my Savior's side
Heav'n is my home;
I shall be glorified,
Heav'n is my home;
There are the good and blest,
Those I love most and best;
And there I, too, shall rest,
Heav'n is my home.

4. Therefore I murmur not,
Heav'n is my home;
Whate'er my earthly lot,
Heav'n is my home;
And I shall surely stand
There at my Lord's right hand.
Heav'n is my fatherland,
Heav'n is my home.

Know that you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! Look to the Lord for all things!
Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
