Capturing life, one moment at a time…
My son, 1st Lieutenant Jason Amato and his beautiful bride Kristen, came over for dinner. I look forward to every visit. (Not to mention they always come with three very special treasures that I adore!)
My precious little Karli acting like a little diva!
Our sweet Louisiana strawberries are finally here after a very long and cold winter down south. So I made strawberry shortcake to celebrate. Oh its so mouth-watering just to look at. They were awesome~
Our cat Caesar, patiently waiting at the front door for someone to let him in. I asked him to He pose for me, but he just wouldn’t smile!
My husband Rick and Bro. Harry from our church leaving for a men’s weekend retreat. Thank God for men who are passionate for Jesus!
Grace wanted to help Grammy get everything ready before company came over. She ran and put on her special apron! I just love all of “Grammy’s Helpers”.
Caught this precious moment when I took the girls for a walk down to the lake in our neighborhood after dinner. They really have such special love for each other.

Welcome to Word-filled Wednesday.
It's such a joy to be your hostess today!
The purpose of WFW is share God's word (no famous quotes or literature...only the word of God)
The home of WFW is at Amy’s 160 Acre Woods.
I don't think there could be a more perfect picture to reflect this verse in Hosea about the way God guides us with his tender care, amazing kindness and great love.
The word kindness is often translated as "steadfast love" in the Hebrew, and that is exactly what it is.
A love that will never fail and never end.
No matter what the circumstances, difficulties or fears may be, God is there with His tender loving care to show us the way.
As we learn to trust and be secure in this abundant love, we are free to be kind to others.
Now we can care for others as we have been cared for by God.
God gives so many opportunities each day to show kindness, which brings us great joy every time we do! The pleasure we feel in caring for others is just a shadow of the delight God takes in caring for us.

Darcy over at My 3 Boybarians is hosting a new meme called Sweet Shot Tuesdays. This is a linky party that encourages photographers to link up their best shot on Tuesdays. She said if you own a camera, you are a photographer! Hmmm, now that just included me!
This picture is taken from a Zoo trip we took last month. For me it was truly a sweet shot of my precious grand-daughter as she was taking a break. She didn’t realize I was watching her. I caught her off guard being just the cutest little girl!
(no editing done, still learning how to use my camera!)

Thanks so much for joining me this week. Loving life through these lens.
My precious Jordan loving on our cat Caesar. Sometimes I think he may drive the cat crazy.
Took a walk with my hubby this beautiful afternoon. Sat down a moment to enjoy the view.
My bosom buddy came over to spend the day. We had so much fun. Thanks Cyndy for being such a faithful friend over all these years.
Awww…more signs of spring around our home.
My granddaughter Kayla came over to spend the night at Grammy’s. We had so much together.
Now here is my little soccer star with Popsy…her number one fan!
Met my son and daughter in love at the Mall after church. Caught this precious smile as Karli went by on the carrousel. I love being a Grammy!

Still learning so much about my new camera. Sometimes it can be so confusing and frustrating. But then there are “those” moments frozen in time that makes my heart a skip a beat! Thanks for joining me on this adventure.
Thought I would catch up on some ironing today. Called a friend and by the time I got off the phone, it was all done!
Oh, don’t you just love the those first signs of Spring? Finally…
I was so excited to get my new camera bag in the mail today. Isn’t it cute? It’s so light, and now everyone won’t know a future photographer is walking around!
Had my tripod set up by our bedroom window. I was so excited to catch this pretty dove perched on our bird feeder.
My granddaughter, Grace, did not have school today. So I took her to the mall, and we were so surprised to see the Easter Bunny there. The lady was so kind to let me take this picture with my own camera. Saved me 20.00 too!
My sons came over to the house today and decided to play a game of tennis after lunch. They are so competitive, you would have thought it was the US Open Championship! And they played like pros…
Took my grandson, Cole, to the playground in our subdivision after church. Of course it was a perfect day for a photo shoot. Now is this not pure joy?
