Project 365-My Week in Pictures

ProjectLifeTuesdayButton

Still learning so much about my new camera.  Sometimes it can be so confusing and frustrating.  But then there are “those” moments frozen in time that makes my heart  a skip a beat!  Thanks for joining me on this adventure.

Monday

Thought I would catch up on some ironing today.  Called a friend and by the time I got off the phone, it was all done!

Tuesday

Oh, don’t you just love the those first signs of Spring?  Finally…

Wed6

I was so excited to get my new camera bag in the mail today.  Isn’t it cute?  It’s so light, and now everyone won’t know a future photographer is walking around!

 Thurs

Had my tripod set up by our bedroom window.  I was so excited to catch this pretty dove perched on our bird feeder.

Friday

My granddaughter, Grace, did not have school today.  So I took her to the mall, and we were so surprised to see the Easter Bunny there.  The lady was so kind to let me take this picture with my own camera.  Saved me 20.00 too!

Tennis

My sons came over to the house today and decided to play a game of tennis after lunch.   They are so competitive, you would have thought it was the US Open Championship!  And they played like pros…

Sun

Took my grandson, Cole, to the playground in our subdivision after church.  Of course it was a perfect day for a photo shoot.  Now is this not pure joy?

Great pictures this week! I am still learning how to use my DSLR. I still can't quite get it to work right on manual mode or to take very good inside pictures. Where did you get that camera bag? I need a lightweight one when going out and about without having to take my huge bag.

There's just something about a smile on a grand child's face!
Praying!
Psalm 31:9-10, 14-15a Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed...But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times are in thy hand:

I love all your pictures. You are doing great with the new camera I think. Love all the nature and outdoor photos. I'm so jealous that you have a tennis court in your yard, we would love that. That's great you can spend so much time with your grandkids. Have a good week.

Your photos are great. I have a new camera too. I haven't had enough time to sit and figure out very much. Your photos are encouraging.
Oh yeah - I love to talk to friends while I am doing chores. They do seem to get done a lot faster.

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Psalm 31:19-21 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence...thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion...Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Absolutely marvellous pics, Susan. :~D

Oh dear. My Nikon SLR is gathering dust. Just can't seem to work photography into my life right now. I may try to join Photohunters on Saturdays... a themed meme.

What a cute camera bag!

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Psalm 34:1-4 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Hi Susan!
It's so very nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Those pictures of the flowers have me envious of your spring arrival! Our snow has just melted this week, so spring is around the corner, just no buds yet. And your camera bag is so very cute!! Where did you get it?
Have you checked out iheartfaces.blogspot.com? It's a great site that will help encourage you in your photography journey. They have some awesome tutorials on how to work all those buttons your camera and get out of 'the green box' mode of your camera (auto mode). I'm now shooting in manual thanks to their website and many others that have taught me so much. Just thought I'd share!
Thanks again for introducing yourself to me...I've enjoyed getting to know a bit more about you! I'll be by again! YOu have a beautiful family!

Praying in Seattle!
Psalm 34:5-8 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Your first signs of spring = pretty flowers. The first sign of spring in my yard are the weeds coming up. :) Enjoyed your pictures - you seem like a great Grandma to your grandchildren.

Know that I'm always here praying!
Psalm 34:15, 17-18: The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
