Friday Funnies

♥  Thank God for our church secretaries.  Here is some more funnies that were printed in church bulletins, hope you enjoy a good laugh!  Happy Friday!

♥   Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of
those  things not worth keeping around the house. Don't forget your husbands!

♥  The peacemaking meeting scheduled for today has been canceled due to a conflict.

♥ Don't let worry kill  - let the Church help.

♥  Miss Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again," giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.

♥  Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the
help they can get.

♥  Barbara remains in the hospital. She is also having trouble sleeping and requests tapes  of  Pastor Jack's sermons.

♥  A bean supper will be held on Tuesday evening in the church hall.
Music will follow…

♥ Potluck supper Sunday at 5:00 PM - prayer and medication to follow.

♥  Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church.  Please use large double door at the side entrance.

♥  Please join us today at Homesteaders Heart for more laughter!

I laugh every time I see church bulletin bloopers. I've made plenty - SO easy to make mistakes! Church people can be the worst critics too! Isn't it nice that we can laugh!
Is it Proverbs 17:23 . . . "Laughter is like good medicine."
Wonder if that's the medication being passed out in the fellowship hall after the potluck?
lol

Oh, those were a hoot and a half! I never tire of the bulletin bloopers. The rummage sale, I think, is my favourite.

Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

Oh, Susan, I laughed so hard at each and every one of them. They can't be serious--these can't hae really been in bulletins. But then again, they do seem to be the kind of mistakes I might make. lol. I really needed this--picked me right up! Thanks, dear, for your note on Facebook. I've been tied up with a lot of things so I've been a bit out of it. Always happy to come here to this precious place, though.

P.S. When you get the chance, I'd love your input on my recent post about fasting. Would you share your experience? Hugs!

Hey, Susan...

This list was too FUNNY! I got an email I'll have to forward to you. (If I can find it) ☺

I've been keeping CRAZY busy again and haven't spent as much time online as I'd like.. I've SURE MISSED visiting with you! I say I'll call you.. and intend on doing it almost every day.. then I always let something keep me from it.

I guess I just wanted you to know that you're never far from my mind, heart, or prayers. I LOVE & MISS You MORE than words can say!
