A video about forgiveness with Mary Karen Read's last words in her journal entry before her death at the Virginia tech shooting.

Father, life many times seems so unfair, so unjust. The pain of rejection, abuse, disloyalty, and so much more then I can think of. Lord you are the one who binds and heals the brokenhearted. Father give us the grace to forgive those who have wronged us. I purpose now to live a life of forgiveness as you have forgiven us. With the help of your Holy Spirit we can overcome. In Jesus name, Amen.

WOW!!! I am at a loss for words. How powerful. I especially loved the quote about forgiveness not changing the past, but enlarging the future.
Thanks for sharing. You always find the most awesome videos.
Missing you like crazy! Karli saw your picture, and wouldn't stop talking about "Rammy".
Love ya, Kristin
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I am glad that you know Heide; she is indeed a great woman. She inspires me.
I appreciate you and the way you share your beautiful faith and family. God bless you!
Hello. Beautiful here, its been a while. Hugs
I haved had to choose to forgive and it is hard. thanks for sharing this. There is soooo much freedom for our minds and souls when we can look past any grievances and choose to forgive like our Redeemer did for us. Bless you!
Dear Susan, What a joy to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
I can't stop crying from this video. It is so poignant and so very profound and the same time.
After my Mother's death in 2004 I harbored anger against my Father because as soon as he found out she had Alzheimer's, he sought out another woman, and intended to marry her upon Mom's death. He was 73, the woman 27. The same age as one of our daughters. He died suddenly 4 1/2 months later, as a widower. I have forgiven him and am free from the anger, but the journey is still somewhat fresh, and I really think I needed to see this video.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us. What a blessing. As we forgive, so shall we be forgiven.
May God bless you this week and grant that desire/need that is closest to your heart.
Love in Him,
Becky
Thankful that I can be here praying for you.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand. The Lutheran Hymnal #370, verse 2

Wow! Amen! Thanks for your visit at my place. I have had some issues with Googlefriend connect and lost track of some of my bloggy friends. But I am using Google reader now...blessings sister.
Thank you so much for this Susan. It's just what I needed to see tonight. I'm going through a situation where I know I will forgive the other party, but the hard yards are being done while waiting to hear the other parties side of the story. Forgiveness is so freeing that it is almost overwhelming. I hope you don't mind either, as I've shared this on my FB page; it is THAT powerful! xo
This made me cry. I know the freedom of forgiveness and the heartache of abuse. Last spring, I wrote and sent a letter to one of my sexual abusers. It definitely healed my heart. Now to do that with other people I know I haven't fully yet. So help me God!
Love you.
Tiffany
You always pick the best videos. I may post this one too. :)
Forgiveness is such a spiritual thing. I hardly believe it is possible without God. I'm just in awe from that video. Wow.
So much I could say...much I want to say but rather I will say, powerful and heart touching sharing.
I love you.
Thank you for sharing this video (and referring me to it)! What a powerful powerful thing.
