A Quick Look Back

Psalm 19:14
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Another year has flown by and it's amazing to think about all the things that have happened.

With God's help, we've made it through.  I thought this was a really neat application that Facebook provided.  This is a random collection from my postings in 2009.

Wishing you all a very Happy Blessed New Year!

Here praying!
Psalm 71:1-3 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

Thanks Susan and a blessed happy New Year to you!

Not having Facebook, I find this very interesting and I love how you chose Psalm 19...to speak forth words & meditations from your heart that are pleasing to Our LORD!!!

Let me see...
I believe I caught quite a few from your view of facebook and these are the ones I liked best:

"the best exercise for strengthening the heart is lifting people up..."

"...grateful for the body of Christ"

"Nothing under God's control is ever out of control"...

But this quick glance shows you reflect Jesus in what you say! Very interesting this idea of facebook but better than that is the application Susan has shown of this WORD! Yes, this year has gone by quickly and now we get ready to start again in 2010!!! God's rich abundant blessings over you & yours!

Love & hugs,

This makes me think of the hymn
Christ has no hands but our hands
To do His work today;
He has no feet but our feet
To lead men in His way;
He has no tongue but our tongue
To tell men how He died;
He has no help but our help
To bring them to His side.

We are the only Bible
The careless world will read;
We are the sinners gospel,
We are the scoffer's creed;
We are the Lord's last message,
Given in deed and word;
What if the type is crooked?
What if the print is blurred?

What if our hands are busy
With other work than His?
What if our feet are walking
Where sin's allurement is?
What if our tongues are speaking
Of things His lips would spurn?
How can we hope to help Him
And hasten His return?

~Annie Johnson Flint~

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts,
known and read of all men:
2 Corinthians 3:2

Lovely idea.

Praying right now!
Psalm 71:14-17 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. God's multi-colored grace covers every variegated tests and trailsl we face as we attempt to traverse this minefield called "planet earth". We are aliens, pilgrims, strangers in a strange land trying to leave a mark for the Lord Jesus Christ and a testimony of HIs power to redeem a sinner like me and His ability to broker eternal life through a damaged earthen vessel.

Blessings for a New Year as we walk in the paths that God has preordained for us to walk in!!! As Christian bloggers, let's blanket the blogosphere with praise to God the Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

These verses give such great comfort! Praying!
Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Lifting up prayers!
Psalm 3:3-5 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
