Started our week off with a wonderful dinner at Out-Back. I’ve been saving a gift card we had for quite some time. Oh my…the pictures tell the story.
I rented a new lens for my camera. I took a bunch or random pictures to check it out. It’s now on my wish list!
My husband took this great picture. I was really impressed. (I think I have some competition going on here!)
My granddaughter outside enjoying a beautiful day.
My precious son Jordan, getting ready for the LSU season to begin. Geaux Tigers!
My sweet Grace acting silly for her Aunt Katie!
My sister Mary came out to celebrate my son Joel’s 20th Birthday. It seems like yesterday she was sitting in the chair right beside me as I gave birth to my last son.

I love your pictures this week. Happy Birthday to your son. They do grow up quick don't they. That's a great action shot of your granddaughter. The photo your husband took is pretty. Have a wonderful week.
YUM on the dinner and love the canoe shot!
YUMMY! On the outback meal! How fun!
And Happy Birthday to your son!!
Sounds like a great week!
Susan, I love, love the pictures! Awesome! Which lens did you rent? Was it the 24-70mm? I am contemplating the 85mm right now! Lots of prayers!
Please tell Rick that his picture is amazing too! It must run in your family!! Happy b'day to Joel!
Hugs!
Susan
Wow! Great shots! Love the butterfly pic! Happy birthday to your son!
Beautiful as always!
Where did you rent a lens from? I've wondered about that - I think I've heard of it before.
Thanks for sharing!
Loved every one, Susan. You definitely have some competition going on there. (Of course, as Chrysalis, I'm partial to butterflies!)
You have such a precious family. Love your joy!
Great pictures! What lens did you rent?? I love the picture with it!
Those are some great shots! Outback makes me hungry!
You just get better and better. My goodness...that lens...wow! Except that I know that so much of the credit is due to the woman behind the lens.... :<) (and now I'm hungry, dangit, after looking at those Outback shots.... lol!)
You take fabulous pictures!
Am I the only one out there with a dated camera? Gosh, I wish I had a better one, able to take better pictures to capture this season in my life. Perhaps a new hobby for me, although I'm rather backed up with the old ones...
Thanks for sharing a piece of your week with us. I especially enjoyed the food pic's, along with your son's long hair photo. It must be a boy, 20 something thing. Still adorable!
peace~elaine
Always love your pictures.
