Project 365-My Week In Pictures

ProjectLifeTuesdayButton

Monday

After 6 long, long months of waiting for Jordan’s next MRI at St. Jude, the day finally arrived.  As always, it’s a long and difficult day for my son.  He has to be sedated for his scans, which means fasting is required.  Because of some emergencies, he was pushed back to last on the table.  Waiting until 4:00pm seemed like FOREVER.

Tuesday

After receiving our GREAT news that his brain tumor had remained stable, Jordan was excited to go visit the therapy dogs.  He fell in love with Flicker!

Wednesday

We flew home on Wednesday.  It was a quick visit this time, but we were so relieved and blessed to go home with a good report.  Good-bye St. Jude for another 6 months!

Thursday

Caught my husband outside on the backyard swing on this beautiful fall evening.  Didn’t think he expected me to snap this shot.

Friday

My silly little Kayla having fun on the trampoline.

Saturday

As you can see, we are big LSU fans!  It was “Game Day” in Baton Rouge.  My two sons had tickets and went to the game.  They had a blast down at Tiger Stadium for the Homecoming game.

Sunday

I did a photo shoot for Erica and Will.  It was my first time trying my hand at a maternity shoot.  Gosh, I was so nervous about how they would come, but in the end we got some good ones!

Thanks so much for dropping by today.  Please join us over here for more projects!

I am busting with rejoicing unto GOD for your handsome son's report!! Praise the LORD!

Loved all the photos of your precious family. Hey, you have to get on the other side of the camera some times so I can see your beautiful face.

Praying for your family as I leave your blog...love you!

Still thrilled about the good news!
These verses are so comforting. Continuing to pray!!!!!!!!!
Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Lifting up prayers!
Lamentations 3:55-58 I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

Continuing to pray!
Psalms 18:28-31 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
