Started my week off with a nice big pot of homemade veggie soup. If I must say so, it was delicious. This is one of my all time favorites during the winter time.
Took my son Joel to get his hair cut. I told him I’d take this picture to show him how good it looked. OK…maybe I didn’t tell him the whole story! A mom has to do what she has to do…to get a shot sometime. I just love those big dreamy eyes.
Oh, what great day Wednesday was! My girlfriend came out to spend an entire day with me. We started off at the YMCA and did the Hip Hop Class. What fun. Then we headed over to Chili’s for an awesome lunch that we had worked really hard for in class. After that we did a little shopping (of course), and came back to the house and hung out for awhile before she had to leave. Thanks Cyndy for making my day so special♥
Lazy day, I didn’t cook. So we ordered a pizza and some cheesy-bread from Dominos. No complaints from the troops.
Thought I’d pull a lens out of the bag that I rarely use and give it another try. Caesar is always a ready and willing subject for a little photo shoot. The problem is, he’s always so serious…I wish I could get him to smile.
Well as you can see my husband is recovering quite well from his surgery just three weeks ago. Didn’t take much prodding from our son Jason to get him back out on the courts. They were all tied up after eight games, but I think Rick ran out of gas as Jason went on to win the set. I’m still impressed…
Took the grands to play at the playground that just opened up by our house. I thought Karli looked so cute in her new dress Grammy got her for Christmas. She was posing for me when I caught this shot.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll look forward to seeing how your week went.
Please join us over here and here for more Project 365’s.

Know that I'm still here praying, especially for Joel!
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Wow, Susan! So many great photos this week! Joel's hair looks really nice and I love the one of Karli. She's posing so cute and your conversion is perfect. The one of Caesar is wonderful too although I'm sure Maisy would not agree. She was barking out the window this morning because she saw him walking by!

Still praying in Seattle!
Galatians 1:3-5 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Continuing to lift up prayers.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
