Lots of Sweetness and Pink

This weekend we went to see Cars 2.  Finally a movie just for my grandson!

Karli20

After the show I bribed my grands for a quick picture on these pretty stairs outside the theater.

And they did just great!

Now, I just adore my girls, but this little guy melts my heart every time!

OK, he’s a charmer, what can I say?

After the show, we took all the kids to Barnes and Nobles to read some books in the children’s section.  Cole found a Cars 2 book, which made him very happy!

Grace and I made a quick shopping trip and found her a new backpack for school, which she was so proud to model for me.

Oh, what a great joy and delight it is to be a Grammy!

For Texture Tuesday the theme is pink.

I'm glad you had fun at the movie. I never go to that theatre, but it does have a really gorgeous lobby. Love the ones of the girls on the steps. Grace's new backpack is so cute. I can see why she loves it. I love your pink photos this week too especially the crepe myrtle. Beautiful edits!

Beautiful grandchildren! I love the texture shot of the crepe myrtle. I need to get an editing program to play around with textures.

Oh my, Susan, how do you ever give them back? Oh wait, I know ;) That theater's steps are divine. And you grands are absolutely stunning. My goodness you have the perfect models! The treatment on that beautiful rose is amazing. Such a wonderful edit.

Beautiful pictures of your grandchildren! Love the pink polka dot dress and sparkly eyes of your granddaughter. Beautiful texture work on the flowers. I use textures mostly in portraits of people but would love to do more with flowers!

Oh my, how the Lord has blessed you in the form of those PRECIOUS grandchildren! Also wanted to mention, was reading your profile: I'm a lover of C.H. Spurgeon and David Jeremiah as well! Am actually in the middle of Jeremiah's book "Amazing Grace". Anyhow, just wanted to note that. :) Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a trail of "encouragement"! God bless!

Praying right now to the One who is with you always!
Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
