Each year we go to my husband’s sister’s house for Christmas.

She has such a lovely home and has it decorated so beautifully!

We have tons of food and all year long everyone waits for the family’s favorite appetizer…Oyster patties!

We also celebrate my husband’s Christmas eve birthday!

While we were preparing to serve dinner, the kids had a blast playing their new Wii game…Just Dance 2.

Girls just love to dance!

And finally, I got my husband to join in as well!

The kids all got some really neat microphones, and had so much fun entertaining us with them.

We even had a special trio perform some Christmas songs for us!

Looks like Cole may be our next American Idol!

Or maybe it will be Karli?

And a special thank you for the amazing cast!

Hope all of you out there had a wonderful Christmas too!

Very special photos! Of course the one of you taking the picture of the ornament...really laughed at that one! Very unique!
The Lord will always be there to get you through whatever you have to face. Praying!
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

These are so fabulous! You did such a good job of capturing a wonderful time! So many incredible shots! You look beautiful! I love the one of you and Rick. And the ones of the kids dancing are so cute. But my favorite is the one of Karli and her doll. It's perfect! Oh and I love the one of you in the ornament too. Very fun! I didn't get to take one like that this year. Did you use the 24 for any of these?

Awwww - what sweet Christmas fun for all of you - from grandparents on down to the grandkids. It's always such a sweet joy to visit and see your delightful smiles. And what a cool photo at top! I'm going to have to buy a bulb like that, just so I can try that. Tho my easy to use digital camera doesn't have the lens I can see in the pix, - but still, worth a fun try. Thanks for the visit and the fun idea :) Have a blessed and beautiful and fun New Year!

What a beautiful family! I love all of the Christmas pictures you shared. Your right, your sister's house is so beautifully decorated and her tree is amazing. One of my girls got Just Dance as well and I had fun dancing with my girls yesterday...it was quite a work out!

Wanted to share these comforting words with you! Know that I'm always praying!
Job 19:25-27 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
