Friday Photo Flashback

Fridayflashback

I recently stumbled upon this meme and thought I would go find some old pictures of my boys through the years.

My, my…the years have flown by so quickly!  If you are the mother of young ones now, cherish each and every moment.  Time waits for no one!  I labeled the first one with my son’s names, let’s see if you can figure out who’s who as they are growing up.

Easter - 1991

Ready for Church…5 years later

Boys 3

My oldest son’s wedding day in the summer of 2003, with all of his brothers.  He left two weeks later for a one-year tour of duty in Afghanistan.

And this one taken on Easter 2007, right after their annual spring football game.

Now finally, I have my granddaughters to add a little pink to the family photos!  I enjoyed raising the boys…..but MY GIRLS are GREAT !!!!

Please join us over at Alicia’s More Than Words for more flashbacks!

Great photos! Wow time flies, doesn't it?
Know that you're always in my thoughts and prayers!
Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

5 boys!! I can only imagine what your house was like in the growing years! I bet it was a fun place and one that all the neighborhood kids wanted to be at! My little one is growing at a rapid pace and I try desperately to cherish every moment of our lives at this stage. He's just so stinkin' cute!!!

I enjoyed being taken back many years :) And I appreciate your advice for moms of young ones to cherish each and every moment (as I sometimes I neglect to do that)

Nice to meet you too. Thanks for dropping by at mine.

This passage is so very comforting! Here praying!
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

I've reflected a lot on the passage of time as of late. It's been both painful and joyful. How thankful I am for a family tree that continues to grow and blossom with each new season. You have a beautiful "planting" Susan. Blessings to you this week.

What a great post. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I enjoyed seeing how all the ladies decorated their tables using Scripture as their theme, but this was one of my favorites. Blessings.
