The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Psalm 19:7-11
On this Thankful Thursday I want to thank God for His WORD. What a priceless treasure He has given to us. A book of promises, of which, none will fail. No matter what I’m going through in my life, I have His precious, pure, and perfect Word to comfort, guide, and teach me.
Where would I be without it? Where would anyone be without it? God’s Word has the power to renew our lives, rearrange our lives, and restore our lives. It is a doorway to the impossible, and a pathway to TRUTH.
Charles Swindoll once said:
“News articles may inform us. Novels may inspire us. Poetry may enrapture us. But only the living and active Word of God can transform us.”

Loved the quote by Swindoll...SO TRUE!! I prayed just this morning, that my bible reading would not just be something to check off my "to do" list, but a real meeting with my Jesus, in which he revealed himself to me in order to restore my soul and transform my mind.
